About Us

Waldemar was my grandfather’s name. He passed away when I was quite young, so I never got to know him particularly well. However, he left me $500 in his will and I used part of that money to purchase my very first camera, a Pentax K1000. This started my lifelong love of photography. I am a Pacific Northwest-based photographer who enjoys the intersection of technology, gear, skill, creativity, persistence, and the artistic vision required to create captivating images. I enjoy many genres of photography including Wildlife, Street, and Scenic. Birds, and more particularly Eagles, are a favorite subject matter at the moment. I have always enjoyed being out in nature and find my camera to be the perfect companion. I am currently exploring all that the beautiful Cascadia region has to offer and I am looking forward to the day when time allows me to explore destinations further afield.
